About me

Sergey Pesterev was born in Moscow region of Russia, the place where he grew up and still lives. He took his first steps in the dark room in the 1990s, and from the start he focused his attention on landscape photography. He graduated in IT Engineering from the National Research University of Electronic Technology in 2004. However, he considers photography to be his vocation. He loves to travel and tries to convey through photography the atmosphere of the places where he manages to visit. He is a member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers and was awarded the "Excellence FIAP" distinction in 2017. He became the winner of "Wiki loves Earth 2017" and a finalist of the Hasselblad Masters 2018.
